As Sharon steps out of the car at Society, Jordan appears from behind with a bottle of sleeping pills in hand. She quickly knocks Sharon out before anyone notices. Darkness begins to fall over the Newman family’s New Year’s Eve.
Ian Ward and the Danger at Society
Meanwhile, inside the restaurant, Ian Ward, under the false identity of Warren Masters, appears with a sweet smile. No one suspects him of being a potential danger.
Ian quickly finds a seat for the two of them, but when Tessa suggests putting Warren’s name on the standby list, Ian immediately takes advantage of the opportunity.
When Tessa accidentally leaves her water bottle behind, Ian discreetly pours an unknown substance into it. After drinking the water, Tessa begins to feel dizzy and lightheaded. She steps outside to get some fresh air but, unfortunately, runs into Ian right at the exit.
Ian pretends to be concerned, helping Tessa sit down when she has difficulty breathing. He also gives her a puff of spray, catching her off guard.
Just then, Mariah appears, immediately noticing Tessa’s unusual condition. Mariah’s eyes turn wary as she looks straight at Ian, sensing unease from the stranger.
