Chelsea and Adam’s Big Decision
At the ranch, Adam finds Chelsea working and snacking on his favorite chips. They playfully struggle over the bag, leading to a kiss.
Chelsea stops, reminding him Connor is upstairs. Adam believes it’s time they tell Connor about their renewed relationship.
“Unless you’re having second thoughts,” he says. Chelsea reassures him—she has no regrets and wants to do it again. Still, she hesitates to tell Connor, fearing it may affect his OCD. Adam reminds her that Connor has grown, and they must trust him. Chelsea agrees, “OK. I trust you.”
Connor enters, and they share their news. He beams, thrilled they’re a family again. When asked why they hesitated, Chelsea admits she was worried about his OCD.
Connor assures them he’s fine. He asks if he can share the news, and they say yes. After he leaves, Adam and Chelsea celebrate how well it went. Chelsea, overwhelmed with happiness, kisses Adam.
Diane and Phyllis’ Tense Encounter
At GCAC, Diane approaches Phyllis, expressing sympathy for her kidnapping ordeal. Phyllis, skeptical, accuses Diane of not caring.
Diane insists she wouldn’t want Summer to lose her mother. Phyllis, surprised by her kindness, apologizes for snapping. Diane listens as Phyllis explains her experience changed her. She wants to let go of past grudges.
However, when Diane jokingly calls herself Phyllis’ “lab rat,” Phyllis snaps, reliving the trauma of her kidnapping. Diane, shocked, apologizes. Phyllis, visibly shaken, asks her to leave. As Diane exits, she tells Billy that Phyllis needs help.
Billy finds Phyllis struggling with a panic attack. She insists she’s fine but admits she’s been struggling with triggers.
Billy reassures her that healing takes time. To distract herself, she asks about business. Billy reveals an investor, Aristotle Dumas, who wants a stake in Abbott Communications.
Phyllis is skeptical, questioning his motives. Billy drops a bombshell: Dumas is the key to reclaiming Chancellor. Phyllis is stunned. “Are you out of your mind?”
Traci’s Suspicion About Alan
At Crimson Lights, Traci confides in Jack. She suspects Alan isn’t who he claims to be. She recalls seeing messages on his phone about a clinic breach—coinciding with Sharon and Phyllis’ kidnapping. She worries Alan was expecting the alerts.
Jack dismisses the idea, but Traci insists there are too many coincidences. Alan pushed for a quick engagement, then abruptly wanted to move to Paris. The messages mentioned gas—just like the one used on Sharon and Phyllis. Jack grows concerned.
Traci fears she’s been deceived. “What if the man I love isn’t Alan, but Martin?” Jack, now taking her seriously, suggests they inform Chance. Traci, heartbroken, agrees. If she’s wrong, Alan will never forgive her. But Jack doubts she’s wrong.
As Traci breaks down, Jack comforts her, promising they’ll uncover the truth.
