Y&R Comings & Goings: New Contract Player, Exciting Return Arcs and More

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to pass along, so let’s discuss a new contract player, some exciting return arcs and more. Some big things are happening at the CBS soap, so here’s the scoop!

For starters, Nathan Owens has been upgraded from recurring status.

Based on the show’s closing credits, Owens is now on contract as Holden Novak.

That’s great to hear since it’ll lock Owens in and give him a chance to hopefully get more airtime as Holden’s story heats up.

Speaking of stories heating up, Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott) has been doing a fabulous job portraying Traci’s heartbreaking reality of “Alan Laurent” possibly being Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) and the person behind all the clinic chaos.

Maitland will get even more opportunities to shine during the week of March 31-April 4 as Traci gears up for a final faceoff with Martin – one that could end in disaster if she’s not careful!

Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) will also be back following her treatment in Chicago before Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) appears with some controversial advice for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in the week ahead.

Next, Tracey E. Bregman will reprise her role as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin, so look for her to summon Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and give her a push to betray Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) – presumably for Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) sake.

It’ll be great to see Lauren back in the mix for a bit, especially since she’ll be doing something as bold as pressuring Nikki to go against her husband.

Lauren will make some disturbing predictions about what Victor’s up to and put Nikki in a tight spot.

Of course, we should also discuss Mishael Morgan’s upcoming return as Amanda Sinclair.

In case you missed the announcement, Amanda will resurface later this spring for a guest arc.

Although Y&R isn’t revealing the details of Amanda’s temporary comeback just yet, she’ll inevitably get tangled up in some drama once she’s on-screen again.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda may get updates on a crisis that demands her attention, so stay tuned for any shockers she might face down the road.
