Y&R Spoilers: Claire, Sally and Chelsea Share Same Disappointing Man Problem
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that three women share the same man problem. Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) all have a mutual issue, so let’s talk about what they have in common.
Chelsea believes Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has become a better man and has seen real growth in his character.
That’s why Chelsea was willing to get back together with Adam, but she’s run into some familiar drama.
It’s a constant battle for Chelsea to rein in Adam’s worst impulses and keep him from going after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
We have no doubt that Adam would be doing his worst to Billy if Chelsea wasn’t there to steer him away from carrying out Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) destructive orders.
Likewise, Sally is stuck constantly warning Billy against bad decisions and trying to prevent him from being his own worst enemy.
It feels like Chelsea and Sally are practically nagging babysitters instead of romantic partners at this point.
Claire arguably falls into that Y&R story category as well since she’s spent so much time trying to guide Kyle down the path she wants with Victor.
It’s futile since Victor may never truly approve of Kyle, but Claire’s storyline has been all about nagging Kyle to see how important Victor’s blessing is.
Claire’s the one who’s been so pushy about gaining Victor’s acceptance – and as a result, she’s shoved Kyle into this risky contract situation that’s sure to backfire.
Chelsea, Sally and Claire keep lecturing their men, but it’s probably not going to work out well for any of them.
These three women have good intentions, but their efforts may be pointless since Adam, Billy and Kyle are doomed to make big mistakes.
Adam can’t avoid his terrible tendencies indefinitely, and Billy always self-sabotages sooner or later.
Kyle is also gearing up for a Victor-related disaster, so trouble is on the horizon – especially now that Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) plot is entering the next phase.
Claire, Sally and Chelsea have put a ton of time and energy into trying to control their problematic men, but things could head south for all of them before long!
