The New Bad Girl Team Up on Young and Restless!! Lucy & Katie
We don’t think it’s a coincidence that the September 3 episode of The Young and the Restless intercut Lucy being read the riot act by her parents with Billy advising Katie that she should keep trying and trying until she gets what she wants.
We think the show is actually giving us a big, old spoiler about the next duo to terrorize Genoa City. And we can’t wait!
Suspect Number One
Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) was so desperate for friends that she lied to be able to hang out with the cool, older girl Faith (Reylynn Caster).
When Faith politely blew her off, Lucy moved on to drinking, which led to a car accident that brought back horrible memories for Sharon (Sharon Case), Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Daniel.
So now Lucy has to pay for her sins literally, do community service, AND put off Driver’s Ed. She is the most miserable and unhappiest girl who ever lived!
No more chasing after older kids’ approval. This time, Lucy is going to be the cool one. All she needs is a young minion to team up with.
We don’t know much about Katie (Sienna Mercuri) yet. We know she didn’t fall in love with Claire (Hayley Erin) right away, like Victoria (Amelia Heinle) expected. But then she seemed to come around, and nothing more was said about it since.
She explained to Billy (Jason Thompson) why she wanted to be captain of her school team and seemed pretty…driven. Just the kind of girl who might find Lucy a good pal to have. One who would appreciate that aspect of Katie’s personality.
Two Is Greater Than One
Lucy is the granddaughter of Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown).
Katie is the granddaughter of Victor (Eric Braeden — who recently did this), Jill (Jess Walton), and the namesake of Katherine (Jeanne Cooper). Do you know how much trouble those people caused combined? Now imagine what Lucy and Katie could do…together.
